V/DRAIN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS...

Ford Crown Victoria- Use V/Drain Original model (short drain)

Before you begin

1. Read and understand all instructions before attempting installation.           

2. Wear gloves and safety goggles during installation.  

Locating the installation location

1. Look under the car, directly under the footwell of the back seat.  You will see a hole in the center which is covered with a piece of plastic.  This is the area you can use to install your V/Drain through.   

2. If you do not choose to use the drain hole, you may cut forward or rearward of the drain hole to center the drain.           

3. Drill out the plastic or area you have chosen using a 2 inch metal cutting hole saw from the bottom of the car upwards.  Drill only through the plastic and allow the pilot bit of the hole saw to drill up through the padding .  

4. Locate the pilot hole on the top of the floor covering and re-center your hole saw.  Drill downwards to cut out the rubber floor covering, insulation, and complete the hole.           

5. Use silicone calking or household goop and around the top rim of the hole and place the drain portion into the hole.  Take the nut and thread it onto the exposed drain threads under the car.  THE ROUNDED HALF OF THE NUT SHOULD BE FACING UPWARDS TO SEAL AND CENTER THE DRAIN INTO THE VEHICLE FLOOR PAN.  Tighten the nut securely to compress the insulation and improve the drain performance.             

6. Wipe off excess calking or glue and allow it to dry per manufacturers instructions.
